Boran Uzun, born in Istanbul in 1976, is originally from the Black Sea region and comes from a family involved in trade. After graduating from Cağaloğlu Anatolian High School in 1994, he completed his degree in Electronics and Communication at Istanbul Technical University (İTÜ). Uzun completed his postgraduate studies at INSEAD and began his career at Procter & Gamble. After over 10 years in various senior roles in production, R&D, and supply chain departments in Germany, France, Turkey, and the USA, he worked as the Deputy General Manager of Domino’s Turkey-Russia and was part of the team that took the company public on the UK stock exchange with a venture capital group. Later, he worked as the CSO and CEO of MNG Kargo for the same venture capital group.

He then established his own venture capital platform and managed the restructuring of Polonez-Trakya Meat Company as CEO-Partner, selling the company to a foreign capital group within 24 months. He continues his role as CEO.

Additionally, he serves on the board of directors of several companies, providing management and M&A consultancy. In his personal investments, he works closely with active management on mid-sized companies, particularly in the areas of management and strategy.
