Born in 1961 in İbecik, Burdur, Nail Olpak graduated from Aydın High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and received his master’s degree in Energy from Yıldız Technical University.
Nail Olpak began his professional career at Umar Makina A.Ş. He then worked as Assistant Factory Manager at Özgün A.Ş. and held senior executive positions at Cankurtaran Holding, from which he voluntarily resigned in 2000 while serving as Vice President.
Afterward, Nail Olpak founded NORA Elektrik A.Ş., PAK YATIRIM A.Ş., and HMN A.Ş. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of NORA and PAK YATIRIM, and as a Board Member in companies affiliated with these firms.

(Informatics Valley).
Nail Olpak has been awarded honorary doctorates in International Relations by Istanbul Technical University, Ahi Evran University, and Mehmet Akif Ersoy University.
Married with two sons—one an architect and the other a mechatronics engineer—Nail Olpak is fluent in English.
